Ask anyone who has lived here for a while what makes life in Andalusia so good, and you’ll get a smile before you get an answer.
Because it’s not one thing. It’s the way the day is built.
I’ve lived in Estepona for eleven years, and Andalusia has had my heart for almost thirty. In all that time, I’ve never met anyone who moved here and said: “I need a healthier lifestyle, let me plan one.” It simply happens. The rhythm does the work for you.
The day begins on the promenade. Walkers, cyclists, neighbours who greet each other by name. Coffee on a terrace before the sun gets serious. Then the market, where the tomatoes actually taste like tomatoes.
Nobody calls this a routine. It’s just Tuesday.
Here, lunch takes its time. A table in the shade, fresh fish, good olive oil, bread, a glass of something cold. Conversation that goes on because nobody is checking their watch.
And then, the part many of my Dutch and Belgian clients need a week to get used to: the pause. The afternoon has room in it. Rest is not lazy here. It’s part of the plan.
Dinner starts when the heat has gone and the streets come alive again. Families, friends, three generations at one table. In Estepona’s old town, with its whitewashed streets and flower pots on every wall, an evening walk is the best part of the day.
Padel with friends. A round of golf. A hike in the Sierra Bermeja, a morning on the water, a long bike ride along the coast. You don’t have to drag yourself outside. The outside keeps inviting you.
Most of my clients arrive with the same wish, even if they phrase it differently: more space, less rush, more control over their own time.
A beautiful home is where it starts. But the rhythm is why people stay.
That’s what we do at FELIZZ. We take care of the practical side, the right property, the right people, the right introductions, so that from the first week you’re not busy with arrangements. You’re simply living at the right tempo.
Because the best investment you can make is in yourself. And it starts with a different rhythm.
Curious what that could look like for you? Let’s talk.
